Japanese ink company launches ultra-high gloss gravure ink

The Chemical Industry Department of Dainippon Ink recently introduced an ultra-high-gloss “finely-developed high-grade metal powder” gravure ink with a metallic effect comparable to that of a mirror.
The ink is a gravure ink with metal effect obtained by using ultra-high gloss aluminum particles and newly-developed varnishes obtained through special processing methods and applied with the company's unique dispersion technology. The color change is not limited to silver. It can also realize rich and colorful colors, reproduce fine lines through surface tones such as color gradation, and use hologram bases to produce metal holograms and partial holograms.
The ink can also be adapted to a wide range of printed materials such as OPP, CPP, PET, PT cellophane, etc. It can not only print the container trademark, but also can be used to print all packaged instruments such as regular bagged foods, dried foods, and fresh foods. In addition, the ink does not contain toluene, which helps to improve the working environment at the gravure printing site.
