Kite Packaging's online division, based in Coventry, has recently made a generous donation of £1,000 to the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance. This contribution will help support their life-saving services across the region.

The Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance is a vital charity that has been operating since 2003. It provides rapid medical response through two helicopters covering an area of 3,850 square miles, including major roads and highways throughout the UK.

Recently, employees from Kite’s Coventry office had the opportunity to meet with volunteers and staff from the air ambulance service. They were deeply moved by the stories of bravery and dedication shared by those who work tirelessly to save lives every day.

This £1,000 donation will go directly toward supporting the air ambulance’s 24/7, 365-day-a-year service. It ensures that they can continue responding to emergencies, no matter the time or weather conditions.

Laura, a fundraiser for the charity, said: “We are incredibly grateful to Kite Packaging Ltd for their generous donation. As a non-government funded organization, we rely entirely on public support to keep our life-saving operations running.”

She added, “The funds could make a real difference. For example, £10 could cover the fuel needed to drive the Night Car 50 miles, £28 could pay for fuel for a typical shift, and £124 could provide a vacuum splint for someone with a broken limb.”
