The saturator temperature is controlled by the main control board and adjusted based on ambient temperature and room conditions. The saturator is a pressurized container with a pressure resistance of at least 6 kg/cm², made from stainless steel. Each unit is equipped with two electric heating elements, one of which serves as a backup for easy maintenance. Inside the saturator, deionized water is used, and it features a water level gauge, inlet valve, exhaust valve, drain valve, sensor, and test hole. A three-way joint connects to the pipe leading to the nozzle, while the other end is connected to a pressure gauge. Using distilled or deionized water ensures that the air entering the nozzle is close to the chamber's test temperature, providing clean and humid air for testing. The gas supply system uses high-pressure PP pipes from the compressor to the air reservoir. The outer diameter gradually decreases along the piping route, and a high-quality silicone rubber tube is used just before the nozzle. All pipes exposed to the air or embedded within the frame are insulated with different materials to maintain stability. Water must be regularly replenished in the saturator because the hot and humid air passing through it carries away some moisture over time. As a result, water consumption is continuous, and regular refills are essential. Due to the internal pressure in the saturator, water cannot be added directly while the system is running. This means the gas supply must be temporarily stopped, and the water refill process is slow. To solve this issue, two solenoid valves are installed on the saturator: one for water intake and another for air release. When refilling, both valves are opened simultaneously, allowing safe and efficient water addition.
