To ensure minimal downtime and quick resolution, it's essential to diagnose and address the issue promptly. Here are some key points to consider when maintaining the device.

1. If the temperature and humidity controller shows an abnormal temperature reading, the first step is to check the over-temperature protector in the control room to make sure it is still set at 150°C. A faulty or misadjusted protector can lead to incorrect readings or even damage to the system.

2. Next, inspect the laboratory's piping for any buildup of debris that might be restricting water flow. It’s also important to check if the water tank has sufficient water. If the tank is empty, verify the water supply and ensure the pump is functioning properly.

3. Lastly, examine the solid-state relay responsible for humidity control for signs of a short circuit. If the heater is operating normally, use a multimeter to check the AC voltage and confirm there are no electrical issues.

In addition, before performing any maintenance, turn off the main power supply. Open the drain valve located under the heating chamber so that it aligns with the pipeline, allowing all internal water to drain out. Clean the inside thoroughly, remove the silicone tube, and rinse it under running water. After completing the cleaning, reassemble the components in the reverse order of disassembly. Once everything is back in place, close the drain valve perpendicular to the pipeline and then restore the main power supply to the unit.

Maintaining a constant temperature and humidity machine requires attention to detail and regular checks. By following these steps, you can prevent minor issues from escalating into major problems, ensuring the equipment continues to perform reliably during critical tests.
