The types and characteristics of commonly used anti-counterfeit labels for packaging

At present, there are more than a dozen types of anti-counterfeit labels commonly used in packaging:

1. Tamper-proof seal

An exposed self-adhesive anti-counterfeit seal with a substrate made of a plastic film is used as a colored non-adhesive plastic strip; after being lifted, a colored handwriting can be seen on the paper, and the plastic strip can be seen clearly. The colorless writing has the features of exposing, loss, and loss. It is mostly used in the fields of security envelopes and electrical appliance warranty labels.

2. Fragile paper labels

The use of specially crafted shredding or fragile adhesive materials, which can be printed on the trademark, text description and bar code, can not be fully lifted after affixed to the packaging, once it is lifted, the paper is broken.

3. Comprehensive anti-counterfeiting defracting indentation paper label

The use of a variety of anti-counterfeiting technology made of self-adhesive paper labels can enhance the anti-counterfeiting function. In order to prevent labels from being lifted, exchanged, and reused, die-cut indentation technology can be used to carry out tamper-evident treatment of the labels locally and cannot be restored after being lifted.

4. Barcode technology tags

The types of barcodes currently used are relatively large, and the security bar codes are mainly one-dimensional barcodes and two-dimensional barcodes. Barcode technology can not only promote better and faster promotion and application, but also can achieve the purpose of branded goods not being counterfeited and protecting the interests of consumers.

5. Laser hologram image tag

The application of laser holographic image technology in anti-counterfeiting packaging is mainly printed anti-counterfeiting labels and trademarks. The factors influencing the anti-counterfeiting performance of laser hologram labels are the type and location of the labels. The types of laser holographic image anti-counterfeiting labels are as follows.

1 Adhesive type

The holographic anti-counterfeit graphic is produced on a self-adhesive material, and no adhesive is used when it is used, and the mechanical adaptability is better. The biggest drawback is that it can be used repeatedly, and criminals can use the old packaging and labels for counterfeiting.

2 Defend type

To make up for the shortcomings of ordinary adhesive labels, when the label is removed from the package, the holographic image of the label is completely unrecognisable and cannot be used again, which can prevent the use of the old label for counterfeiting.

3 Hot stamping type

It is a kind of non-detachable holographic anti-counterfeiting label. The holographic anti-counterfeit label is stamped on the packaging material with a hot stamping machine, and is integrated into it.

6. Font security polyester film label

Before it was lifted, there was no word adhesive tape on the aluminum foil, and there was a noticeable colored handwriting on the label paper and packaging material.

7. Transparent PVC pattern anti-revealing universal label

The former was a white, non-adhesive film label, which was clearly colored on the labels and packaging materials.

8. Transparent PVC security label

On transparent stickers or other documents, transparent laser holographic film with personalized information will not affect the overall design and original effects, but also increase the anti-counterfeiting function, so that the label is personalized.

9. Foam film label

It is a unique semi-gloss white film composed of two layers of polystyrene film. The surface layer is a transparent film that is suitable for printing; the lower layer is a white foam film that has been expanded. Use permanent acrylic adhesive. With good security and anti-counterfeiting effect, when the label is affixed to the substrate and then lifted, the two layers of film are separated, the label is torn, and the remnants of the foam layer will remain on the package and it will be difficult to remove. Suitable for use in wet environments, especially in the production and packaging of beverages, dairy products, etc., have extraordinary practical value. Suitable for glass, PVC, polystyrene bottles and glossy carton labels.

10. Paper base partially uncovered labels

The label substrate is coated paper (which can also be used for special paper), intaglio, relief and offset printing. Simply uncover the upper part and the bottom will leave data for the consumer to enter the query. This label is not reusable. When used as a seal, it is firmly attached and does not easily fall off.

11. Rules exposing composite security labels

Is a self-adhesive security label. When used, the label is directly affixed to the product; when the label is identified, the label is uncovered, and a pre-designed invisible graphic positive image is left on the package; the uncovered label has an invisible graphic text. Materials such as holographic films, coated paper, and plastic films can be used as face materials.
