MUNICH, GERMANY - FESPA – May 31, 2005 – Agfa and its new product are released today: The Sherpa line for inkjet printing systems: the Grand Sherpa Universal AM. It is twice as fast as the equipment we use today. The Grand Sherpa Universal system uses Agfa's new non-toxic solvent-based inks that operate from 65 to 90 inches (165-229 cm) in width. Grand Sherpa Universal AM is best to use Agfa's new ink, so that we can bring us more vivid color effects, faster drying speed, stronger scratch resistance and more for non-coated paper Good printability. It enables fast, high-quality printing of large-format jobs, producing high-resolution production of 6 square meters per hour, or printing of 40 square meters of glossy advertising paper.
