Analyze the cause of the thermal printer's handwriting blur

The thermal printer works by mounting a semiconductor heating element on the printhead. The printhead heats up and contacts the thermal paper to print the desired pattern. The principle is similar to that of a thermal fax machine. The image is generated by heating to produce a chemical reaction in the film. This thermal printer chemical reaction is carried out at a certain temperature. High temperatures accelerate this chemical reaction. When the temperature is lower than 60 ° C, the paper needs to go through quite a long time, even for several years to become dark; when the temperature is 200 ° C, this reflection will be completed in a few microseconds.

The reason for the thermal printer's handwriting is blurred:

(1) The power adapter does not meet the requirements. The thermal printer semiconductor component cannot be made to generate suitable energy to discolor the thermal paper;

(2) The thermal printer core is aged, and the resistance value of the thermal film changes. A particular voltage produces less energy and thus does not discolor the thermal paper.

(3) Inferior thermal paper, uneven chemical coating or low thermal sensitivity of the coating, the energy generated by the semiconductor components of the thermal printer cannot be or is insufficient to cause discoloration;

(4) Thermal paper thickness does not meet the requirements of thermal printers. The gap between the paper and the printing rubber wheel is too large. The thermal printer semiconductor component and the thermal paper cannot be in intimate contact;
