Olympus's new compact C-3030 offers both amateur and professional photographers a choice. The C-3030 can produce 3.3 megapixel images. If necessary, it can capture and save your captured images (using the JPEG compression format to store photos) at two different compression rates up to 2048 x 1536 resolution, as if it were uncompressed. Like TIFF. (The resolution of the C-3030 ranges from 640480 to 2048 x 1536.) All C-3030 aspherical lenses have the ability to zoom in to 3X, and its built-in USB interface can be internal to SmartMedia Flash Ram (fast flash) cards and personal Very fast data transfer between PCs. In order to increase the speed of capturing images quickly, the C-3030 uses a 32MB SDRAM as a buffer so that when the digital camera is reading and writing SmartMedia, it can quickly capture multiple images without suspending reading and writing.
