2 Classification of die-cutting machine

According to the shape of the stencil and the platen, the die-cutting machine has the following three types:

Flat Press Flat Die Cutting Machine

The so-called "flat press" means that the platen and the pressure platform (press plate) are both flat, or the platen is a flat surface, and the pressure platform is an arc surface with a large radius of curvature, as shown in FIG. During work, the pressure platform is used to apply pressure to the platen with the steel knife and the insert, so that the two are in uniform contact with each other. The steel knife completes the cutting action and the inserting line completes the indentation task.

According to the different positions of the platen and the pressure platform of the flattening and die-cutting die-cutting machine, it can be divided into two types: vertical and horizontal. At present, more horizontal and horizontal presses are used in production at home and abroad.

â– Circular flat die cutting machine

The round flat die-cutting machine platen is mounted on a reciprocating platform, as shown in FIG. The cardboard on the work table is sandwiched by continuously rotating rollers mounted above the platform and pressurized by the rollers to complete the die cutting action. After die-cutting, the drum rises, the platform retreats, and the medium-cut cardboard is delivered to the paper basket.

Since half of the reciprocating stroke of the platform of the flattening die-cutting die cutter is idling, its production speed is limited, and it is usually not more than 40 sheets per minute.

â– Circular die cutting machine

A round press die cutting machine, also called a rotary die cutter, is shown in FIG. When round die cutting, the paper is placed on a workbench, and the paperboard is fed into the upper and lower two large diameter rollers with a chain or other paper feeding mechanism. One of the rollers is equipped with a die cutter and an indentation rule (mold). Cut roller), the other roller is a pressure roller, through which the cardboard is die-cut into the desired shape.

Circular press die cutting machine is characterized by: line or point contact when die cutting, so the die cutting strength is relatively large, you can die cut thicker multilayer corrugated cardboard. Due to the continuous rotation of the working drum, the working efficiency of this equipment is high, the maximum cutting width can reach 2m or more, and the working speed can reach 150 shots/min - 200 shots/min, so it is more suitable for large-scale production of large cartons.
