Curwood has introduced a new lidding film that has radically improved Schick's Xtreme3's original problem of uneven peeling, layering or tearing of the lid when tearing the outer package. Curwood's 2.75 mil adhesive layer contains 48 ga polyester, 6- to 8-color back aniline, and 2 mil transparent polyethylene EZ peel easy-open polyester sealant. Unlike other materials, Curwood's internal seal layer is not related to the machine's temperature and shelf life, so the tear will not be uneven, and the seal pack will break open quickly when the seal is lifted.
